Bosch Serie 2, 4 & 6 Freestanding Washing Machines

The most common Bosch washing machine installation in London. All three series use a standard 60cm footprint with a rear cold water inlet and pump-out waste connection. Our installation process for every Bosch freestanding washing machine:

• All four transport bolts removed from the rear panel — Bosch uses M8 bolts with plastic spacers that must be fully extracted, not just loosened
• Cold water inlet hose connected to the existing isolating valve and torque-tightened
• Waste hose routed to standpipe or integrated trap with correct anti-siphon height (minimum 60cm)
• Machine levelled front-to-back and side-to-side using the four adjustable feet
• Full 60°C cotton cycle run to test fill, wash, rinse, spin, and drain before sign-off

Bosch Serie 8 & Integrated Washing Machines

Bosch Serie 8 washing machines with i-DOS automatic dosing and Home Connect Wi-Fi require additional setup steps beyond standard installation. We configure the initial Home Connect pairing and test the i-DOS sensor calibration as part of the installation. For integrated models, we fit the door hinge kit to match your panel weight and align the door so it opens flush with surrounding kitchen units.

Bosch Serie 4, 6 & 8 Built-in Ovens

Bosch built-in single ovens require a dedicated spur with a 13A or 16A fused connection unit — we check your existing circuit before any connection. Serie 8 models with PerfectBake and PerfectRoast sensor technology require the oven to be fully commissioned after installation: we run the initial heat cycle and calibrate the temperature sensor as specified in the Bosch installer guide.

• Circuit capacity verified before connection
• Oven secured into housing with the correct anti-tilt brackets
• All functions tested — fan assist, conventional, grill, bottom heat, and Bosch 4D hot air
• Door seal and hinge tension checked before sign-off

Bosch 4 Burner & 5 Burner Gas Hobs

Bosch Serie 4 and Serie 6 gas hobs use a semi-professional brass burner system. Installation by a Gas Safe registered engineer is a legal requirement under UK Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 — there are no exceptions, regardless of whether you are simply reconnecting to an existing gas point.

• Cutout dimensions verified against Bosch hob specification sheet before fitting
• Flexible hose connection using BSP-threaded regulator at 20mbar natural gas pressure
• Full timed pressure test — gas valve held open for minimum 2 minutes with no pressure drop
• Per-burner flame pattern check — all four or five burners lit and checked for correct blue cone flame
• Written Gas Safe sign-off issued

Bosch FlexInduction & Serie 6 Induction Hobs

Bosch induction hobs — including the FlexInduction PerfectFry models — draw up to 7.4kW at full power. A 32A dedicated circuit with a double-pole isolator switch within reach of the hob is required. We check your consumer unit's spare capacity before connecting. If your existing wiring is not suitable, we advise clearly before starting any work.

Bosch PerfectDry & ActiveWater Dishwashers

Bosch dishwashers — including the 60cm Serie 4 and 6 PerfectDry models — require correct anti-siphon waste pipe routing. We fit a high-loop to the waste hose to prevent the drain pump from back-siphoning into the machine. For Bosch integrated dishwashers with SoftOpen door hinges, we fit the supplied hinge kit and calibrate door tension to the panel weight before testing.
