AEG ProSteam Built-in Single Ovens

• Top-front housing ventilation gap confirmed before installation — minimum 10mm above oven trim required for steam exhaust
• Dedicated 13A spur or 16A circuit capacity checked before connection
• Oven secured to housing with all four anti-tilt brackets — AEG specifies M6 machine screws, not self-tappers
• All cooking modes tested — ProSteam, CircoTherm, conventional, full steam, and grill
• ProSteam water container slot confirmed accessible and correctly positioned
• Steam exhaust vent direction confirmed clear of overhead cabinet

AEG L6FEC49S, L8FEC68S & 9000 Series with ÖKOMix

AEG 8000 and 9000 series washing machines with ÖKOMix technology mix detergent with water before it enters the drum — this requires correct water pressure at the inlet. The AEG technical specification requires 0.05–1.0 MPa dynamic water pressure. London mains pressure is generally within this range, but older properties with partially scaled pipes may be below the minimum. We check inlet flow before finalising the installation.

• All transport bolts removed — AEG 9000 series uses three rear bolts with plastic distance pieces
• Cold water inlet hose connected and checked for correct flow rate
• Waste pump-out hose routed with anti-siphon at minimum 60cm
• ProSense sensor test run — machine loaded with test items and ProSense cycle confirmed to complete
• ÖKOMix dispensing function confirmed on a 40°C mixed load cycle

AEG FSB52917Z & ComfortLift Series

AEG ComfortLift dishwashers have a lower basket that lifts toward you when the door is opened — raising the basket by 25cm to reduce bending. The door mechanism is different from a standard dishwasher: it uses a spring-counterbalanced lift system that must be correctly aligned during installation. If the door is not balanced correctly, the ComfortLift mechanism jams mid-opening.

• Door counterbalance tension checked and adjusted during installation
• ComfortLift lower basket lift mechanism tested through 20 open-close cycles
• AquaStop inlet hose positioned vertically at the rear of the machine
• Anti-backflow high-loop fitted to waste pipe
• Full wash cycle run to confirm all spray arms rotate and water drains correctly

AEG 4 Burner & 5 Burner Gas Hobs

AEG gas hobs use cast iron pan supports and brass burner caps. The burner caps must be correctly seated after installation — a displaced burner cap produces an uneven, orange-tipped flame that does not transfer heat correctly and produces excess carbon monoxide. We check every burner cap is correctly seated and produce a per-burner flame test report before sign-off.
